The output shaft of parallel-axis planetary gear reducers can be perpendicular to the input shaft, while right-angle planetary gear reducers can achieve 360-degree assembly without dead angles.

 

Classified by the method of connection:

This classification includes circular flange-mounted planetary gear reducers and square flange-mounted planetary gear reducers. Providing various mounting options offers customers more choices for applications.

 

Classified by the arrangement of gears in planetary gear reducers:

This classification includes spur gear planetary gear reducers and helical gear planetary gear reducers. Spur gear planetary gear reducers have a higher cost-effectiveness and are generally applied in mechanically simple devices with single-directional operation, low speed, and light loads. On the other hand, helical gear planetary gear reducers are more expensive, but they offer higher precision, smoother operation, and lower noise.

 

Classified by the number of stages in planetary gear reducers:

Classifying by stages, there are three types: single-stage reduction (usually less than 10:1), two-stage reduction (usually greater than 10:1 and less than or equal to 200:1), and three-stage reduction (some brands do not have a third stage, with the maximum reduction ratio reaching 512:1, typically divided based on ratios greater than 100:1). Micro planetary gear reducers can achieve up to five stages, with a maximum reduction ratio of 4592:1.
